9. Will the site be accessible to disabled users?
Depending on the aims of your organisation you may want your website to be designed with accessibility in mind. In practice this means:-
a) Designing the site so that it can be used with a keyboard only and no mouse
b) Allowing the text to be increased in size with a minimum impact on useablity
c) Writing the site in such a way that it is compatable with screen reader software for people with a visual impairment.
The World Wide Web Consortium or W3C is a body that sets standards for web technologies including how websites are written. A W3C standard exists for accessibility, we have experience in writing websites that meet that standard.
